When JDP senior Quentin came for his view and choose, I felt like I needed to pick my jaw up off the floor. I distinctly remember Quintin as a little boy from family portraits many years ago. I remember his impish smile and eyes full of adventure among his 4 siblings. Here he was standing in front of me as a young man who was an impressive 6'5 ready for the next steps in life!
JDP senior Quentin has been playing lacrosse since he was 5 years old. While his favorite position to play is attack, his coaches know he can fill any position on the field with excellence. Coaches joke he's a superman--able to play wherever they place him!
Quentin loves to score--that's where he's made his best memories on the field. In a game against South Carroll (his former highschool prior to transfer), he scored 3 goals. On his club team, he maxed out his scoring record with 9 goals in one game!
Quentin will be attending college and playing lacrosse for Point Park University. His family of 5 children provided plenty of opportunity to hone their skills as it's loved by all! He and his siblings grew up on the lacrosse fields together.
Quentin started playing football at 5 as well. Football creates in him a feeling of calm. In now almost 17 years of JDP, that's the first time I've heard that! I was so intrigued! He's played many positions in football as well, but his favorite is as receiver. He was named all county receiver by coaches his junior year.
Quentin has played quarterback as well, but finds the receiver position less stressful and overall more fun. He hopes to study business in college and is looking forward to these next steps with eyes wide open to all the opportunities that await him!
