When your big sister and brother have paved the way for just about everything in life, it often feels like it's time to carve out your own path to distinctly mark your way through life. That's what JDP senior Audrey's been doing ever since she was little. Click here for your own custom portraits.
Audrey wasn't interested in following in her brother and sister's footsteps in having senior portraits made. She politely declined when the topic came up. However, mom has a formal room 2/3's filled with wall art and we have the frames for the remaining two pieces slated for Audrey. Mom informed Audrey this was going to happen.
The beauty of being able to customize for each client is that we can shape the session to exactly what a client is hoping for. Audrey perked up when the thought of creating at the beach was introduced. She finished her planning meeting intrigued by what we could do and dare I say a bit excited!
Audrey is cut from her mama's cloth in being a beach girl! I don't mean visit the beach for an hour and go do other things while staying at the beach. I mean pack your bag and be at the beach from morning till dinner time. This is where she feels most outgoing and at ease in life. There's no place she'd rather be. So of course her portraits needed to happen at the place she's made her best memories! And of course with her dog Beau that's always happy to tag along!
Audrey had a vision of standing on Coastal Highway for a portrait. Her mom nixed that one right away with, "I see at least one of you getting killed doing that and my odds would be Ms. Jennifer." She's probably not wrong about that!
Audrey attends Maryvale and has had a wonderful experience there. She loves the extra freedoms students are granted. The helpfulness of the teachers combined with the chill atmosphere has been a blessing to her in many ways. She also works at a daycare and is a volunteer in the children's program at LifePoint Church.
Next steps are still undecided for Audrey, but USC is her top contender to pursue business and finance training.
This carefree beach girl who started with no interest in creating portraits ended up embracing the experience and had an absolute blast! It was Audrey's idea to end making a sand angel! She was already soaking wet after being splashed by the incoming tide, so why not!?! This fierce firecracker is a still waters run deep kind of girl and I can't wait to see the mark she's going to make through this life!
It's been a joy watching you grow from the tiny baby on your mama's chest into a young woman full of confidence and spark Audrey!
