Some teens decide that senior year is the year to take their foot off the gas and coast a bit as they finish out high school. JDP senior Lexi is not of those teens. Instead, she's barreling forward, with her eyes on the prize, leading everywhere she goes!
Lexi is the SkillsUSA President. She is excelling in the Criminal Justice program at Century High while also being a member of multiple National Honors Societies, MANNRS club, Student Government and serving as Parliamentarian for CCSGA.
Lexi most enjoys the hands on element of all the programs she's in. Whenever the experience rivals that of what would occur in the 'real world' Lexi is all in! Lexi is known for her leadership and dedication to excellence in all her ventures.
Lexi’s commitment to excellence is further reflected in her achievements—she earned a SkillsUSA State Gold Medal and represented our program as a national competitor in the Quiz Bowl competition in the spring of 2025. She is continuing to challenge herself and plans to compete in a program-specific event this coming spring.
Can we stop for just a moment to reflect on this portrait above. This one stopped me in my tracks...Lexi is a work of art! Such timeless grace, beauty and elegance all coming together so beautifully for her!!
When Lexi is not in school, her passions include dancing on a competitive hip-hop team, working with kids at her summer camp, spending time with friends and family, attending concerts, baking for loved ones, and hanging out with her five pets.
After graduation, Lexi plans to attend a four-year college with the intended major of Environmental Studies and Policy and later pursue a graduate degree in International Affairs with a specialized focus in government.
Lexi you are sure to be a fine addition wherever you go! We wish you all the best as you prepare to spread your wings and fly dear one!
