The demands of the senior year can sometimes feel overwhelming. The "to do" lists just keep growing no matter how many items are crossed off. For some families, creating the time stamp is best a little later. This was the best match for Tye.
Tye's sister, JDP senior Emily was here just two years ago for her own portraits. In fact, a piece from her portrait time tied for first at the SYNC portrait conference last year! Tye's family was eager to see the next installment locked down for Tye! The last portraits of Emily and Tye were from their very young childhood years and these were completing the story on their walls!
The shirt Tye was wearing when he he came for his portrait time was inspiring to me! It wasn't an outfit that was planned for the day but I knew I wanted to experiment with it a bit.
Tye is currently studying at AACC and plans to transfer next year to Towson University to study geology. He's fascinated by earth sciences. Tye is intrigued to learn more about how energies combine to create new things via solar and chemical compositions. His first love is astronomy and second is space, but he's concerned about job prospects for his future in those fields. He kicked about the idea of studying anatomy, but alas realized that was not going to be a match. So he landed on geology.
Tye is also a gamer. In his adorable way he admitted to spending too many hours of his life getting good at playing RPGs, (role playing games). Tye has such a warm personality and kindness about him that made our portrait time together such a blast!
Tye's free time is spent driving in his Acura and carving up the slopes with his snowboard. Keystone Colorado and Okemo Vermont are where he's made his best family memories on the slopes. He's eager for the next season to begin!
Tye, it's clear you are a delight to all who are fortunate enough to do life with you. We wish you all the best with your upcoming transfer and time carving up the mountain!
