So many goals and hobbies in life and there's so little time to accomplish them all! That could be JDP senior Addie's life motto! Addie has vested her time and energy deeply into chasing after excellence in her pursuits that give her the twinkle in her eyes that shines so brightly!
First and foremost on Addie's list of pursuits is her private pilot's license. Addie is very close to earning that. She even snuck in some flight time while she was home from college for the weekend to select her favorite portraits from her senior session a few weeks earlier. She rolled right from pulling into town, to her view and choose, to a flight lesson!
Addie's dad was in the Air Force and her grandfather was in the Navy. Addie had dreams of joining the Air Force as well; however her petite stature meant that was not meant to be. Their minimum heigh requirement is 5'4 :(
Addie's flight time is space where her stress just melts away. Of course, it's just the opposite for her mom who is in a panic whenever Addie is in the air. Addie is very close to being able to fly solo, which wont help her mother's heart, though she is very excited for her! Both Addie and her twin sister Julia are adventurous girls who have yet to meet a challenge they weren't prepared to tackle!
Addie has just begun her studies at Liberty University, beginning as a junior given all the college credits she earned during high school! She plans to study 2 years at Liberty to earn her flying degree and then invest back one year at Liberty as an instructor at the flight school.
Addie recognizes the blessing it is to earn her college degree in an atmosphere that supports, encourages and grows her faith in the Lord. The Liberty environment has already won her heart and become like a second home to her.
Addie's petiteness has never stopped her from pursuing big dreams. She's just as at home in Sephora as she is on the hunting range with her dad. Be it a bow or a rifle or a new applicator, she's eyes on the prize!
Addie adores her family dog Isla who was happy to join us for portraits. Isla did get confused as to why she was in Addie's jeep but not going for their nightly summer ride with the top down. Isla kept looking longingly at the road ahead wondering when they'd be taking off to to feel the breeze in their hair! Sorry Isla!
Addie's joy and exuberance to embrace life spilled out so beautifully through our entire time creating together!
Blog followers may recognize her twin sister Julia who was featured a few weeks ago. Addie joined Julia for a segment of her own portrait time. The equally sweet and sassy bond these two sweet peas share is a special one! We wish you all the best girls and can't wait to see and celebrate your next chapter!
